Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Sports Network announced its 2014 preseason All-America Team today, and it includes 101 players, spread out among 59 schools and all 13 FCS conferences.

MVFC selections honored on the first team include RB Zach Zenner of South Dakota State; RB David Johnson of UNI; OL Robert Booker of Missouri State; OL Jack Rummells of UNI; TE MyCole Pruitt of Southern Illinois; PK Thomas Kinney of Southern Illinois; DB Caleb Schaffitzel of Missouri State; and LS Chris Highland of Illinois State.

Second-Team All-Americans from the MVFC include Xavier Williams of UNI and Colten Heagle of North Dakota State.

Third-Team picks are Martinez Davis of Western Illinois; Christian Dudzik of North Dakota State; and Carlton Littlejohn of North Dakota State.

Seven players returned to the first team after receiving top postseason honors last season. They were Eastern Washington's Cooper Kupp, South Dakota State senior running back Zach Zenner, Southern Illinois senior tight end MyCole Pruitt, Eastern Illinois senior offensive lineman Collin Seibert, Southeastern Louisiana sophomore kickoff returner Xavier Roberson, Norfolk State senior linebacker Lynden Trail and Missouri State senior safety Caleb Schaffitzel.

The Missouri Valley Football Conference, home to three-time defending FCS champion North Dakota State, had the most first-team selections with eight, while its 13 overall selections tied with the Big Sky Conference for the second-highest total behind CAA Football's 15.  Eastern Illinois and Southeastern Louisiana had four selections each, and eight other schools, including North Dakota State, collected three each.
