Division I FCS Roundup - Oct. 12

There are 14 FCS wins against FBS schools this year. Six of those 14 include wins vs. teams from BCS conferences. The 14-such wins is an all-time record, surpassing the previous record of 13 (set in 2000).

QB Brock Jensen of North Dakota State has climbed to No. 7 all-time in the FCS with 38 career wins. The record is 43, established by Armanti Edwards of Appalachian State (2006-09).

Four active RBs in Division I have eclipsed 4,000 career rushing yards, led by Sam Houston State’s Tim Flanders, with an even 5,000. Dominque Williams of Wagner needs 53 yards to reach 4,000.

The Sports Network has announced its first “watch list” for the Jerry Rice Award, which goes to the top freshman in the FCS.
