The Missouri Valley Football Conference concludes its regular season on Saturday, and the biggest game of the week -- in terms of MVFC title implications -- features No. 11 Illinois State vs. No. 1 North Dakota State (ESPN3 at noon).

 

In the past 5 years (2007-11), 49 of 50 teams rated in the Top 10 of the GPI on “Selection Sunday” have earned a playoff bid. The lone team rated in the Top 10 not awarded a bid – No. 6 North Dakota State in 2007 (transitioning and not eligible for playoffs that year).
